Stories About the 1921 Race Massacre

The John Hope Franklin Center for Reconciliation Documentary Project

The purpose of the John Hope Franklin Center for Reconciliation Documentary Project was to capture the stories of how the Massacre was passed down generationally.  The interviews were conducted with a diverse group of people. and took place over a 12-month period.
